ITINERARY:

Early morning pick up from the hotel in Eilat to the Arava Border.
Cross the Arava border and drive to Petra, through the scenic Jordanian desert, past the Wadi Rum area.
Enter the Rose City of Petra through the Siq, a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired awe for centuries - up to the famous the Treasury which appears at the end of the gorge leaving visitors in awe by its size, color and beauty. Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular Amphitheatre which once held 3,000 spectators. After the visit to Petra, stop for a sit-down lunch
Approximately 17:30-18:00 - Transfer from the Arava Border to the hotel in Eilat.


THREE DAY TOUR OF JORDAN


Day 1
Pick up from your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and drive to the border (Sheikh Hussein Bridge or Allenby Bridge) to enter Jordan. Drive on to Jerash - the Decapolis, located north of Amman. Visit the Roman city with colonnaded streets, ancient theater, baths and more. Then drive on to Amman for overnight.

Day 2
Early morning departure, you will travel south to Petra. Enter the Rose City of Petra through the Siq, a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired awe for centuries - up to the famous the Treasury which appears at the end of the gorge leaving visitors in awe by its size, color and beauty. Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular Amphitheatre which once held 3,000 spectators. After the visit to Petra, stop for a sit-down lunch. Return to Amman for overnight.

Day 3
After breakfast depart the hotel and drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosiac map of the Holy Land and ruins of this historical site. Continue on to Mount Nebo, from where Moses saw the Promised Land. From this point you can see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem.
Then drive back to the border crossing and cross back into Israel and on to your hotel in Jerusalem or
Tel Aviv.
